I couldn't get to Washington DC for the women's march in January, 2017, but I attended a solidarity march from Douglas to Saugatuck, Michigan.
Here are a few of my sketches--and yes! I was drawing and marching and talking at the same time! All of these were done on the spot.
That was a first for me and really fun. I love looking at the event reportage sketches of other artists (especially Veronica Lawlor), so it was fun to give it a whirl.
